These Terms cover your use of retentionsmith.com, app.retentionsmith.com and our free audit (the "Site"), which are operated by RetentionSmith LLC, a Utah limited liability company. If you buy a plan, our Master Services Agreement also applies, and it controls if the two conflict.

Using the Site

  • You must be at least 18 and using the Site for business purposes.
  • Don't misuse the Site. That includes scraping it, overloading it, probing its security, submitting stores you aren't authorized to audit, or uploading anything unlawful.
  • If you give us a Klaviyo API key for an audit, you confirm that you're authorized to do so. Audit keys are used once, read-only, and not stored.

Free audit

The audit is automated and based on public signals and, if you choose to provide it, read-only Klaviyo data. It is informational, not professional advice, and it does not guarantee any result. We may email the report to the address you provide.

AI-generated content

Much of our work is produced by AI systems we operate. We review it with automated quality checks, and clients approve it before it goes live. Still, you should read anything before you rely on it.

Intellectual property

The Site, our software, audit methods and content belong to RetentionSmith LLC. Klaviyo and Shopify are trademarks of their respective owners, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Disclaimers and liability

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, RetentionSmith LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim about the Site is limited to the greater of $100 or the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Governing law

Utah law governs these Terms. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Salt Lake County, Utah.
